The South End and the South End Scene

Yesterday morning on Twitter, we shared news from the Howe branch and some of the wonderful friends we’ve made in the South End.

If you have news – good or bad – to share about the neighborhood, soon you may share it in a new version of The Sound End Scene newspaper. The Albany Public Library and the Center for Law and Justice, with support from the NAACP, will be relaunching this community newspaper, which was published from 1976 to 1991. Teens and tweens can find out more about the newspaper by stopping by the Howe Branch any Tuesday from 4-5pm. Adults should visit the Howe Branch and ask to speak with Tor.
